Abstract

This article provides a comparative analysis of the historical evolution of occupational health and safety (OHS) and its application methods in different countries worldwide. With a focus on understanding the evolution of OHS and evaluating its effectiveness, this study compares OHS standards, legal regulations, and application methods across various countries.

Particularly, in high-risk sectors such as the mining industry, the article emphasizes differences in the effectiveness of OHS standards and implementation methods. The comparative analysis aims to determine which countries have more effective OHS practices and extract lessons from their experiences.

By identifying similarities and differences in OHS practices globally, this analysis will help understand contributing factors to successful OHS strategies and areas that require improvement. The comparative analysis serves as a crucial foundation for evaluating the global evolution of OHS and enhancing future OHS practices.
